Programme Objective

AI Ready ASEAN, an initiative by the ASEAN Foundation with support from Google.org, is set to empower 5.5 million ASEAN citizens to thrive in the AI era.

Running from 2024 to 2026, the programme will train 2,000 Master Trainers, engage 800,000 individuals in AI learning, host regional and national policy convenings, release a comprehensive regional AI research report, and launch an e-learning platform serving as a central AI resource hub.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Youths, educators, parents, or from underserved communities
  • Organisations that wish to upskill their employees in AI Literacy
  • Communicate effectively in English
  • Based in Singapore

What Will You Learn?

Learners will develop essential AI literacy skills to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape, explore new career paths, and improve their employability. 

There are 2 types of learning opportunities:

For the 1-hour AI literacy, ONE (1) of the following topics will be covered:
• AI Literacy (Awareness of AI)
• Responsible and Ethical Use of AI
• AI Fluency (Adoption of AI)

For the 12-hour in-depth training, topics that will be covered are:
• AI Fundamentals
• AI Usage & Implementation
• AI Ethic, Privacy & Security

Programme Timeline

Interest Period – Now till further notice
Acceptance of Offer – 5 working days after the offer is sent
Available Training Period – Now till September 2026

Training dates are determined based on location, class size, and other logistical factors. Specific dates will be communicated once these details are finalised.

If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as early as possible so the opportunity can be offered to someone else. Eligibility for future sessions will depend on the reason provided for missing the training.
