Programme Objective

AI Ready ASEAN, an initiative by the ASEAN Foundation with support from Google.org, is set to empower 5.5 million ASEAN citizens to thrive in the AI era.

Running from 2024 to 2026, the programme will train 2,000 Master Trainers, engage 800,000 individuals in AI learning, host regional and national policy convenings, release a comprehensive regional AI research report, and launch an e-learning platform serving as a central AI resource hub.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Committed to conducting 12-hour in-depth training for a minimum of 120 learners within 10 months after completing the training programme

What Will You Receive?

You will embark on a 20-hour training consisting of in-person and online learning. 

Upon completion, you will receive an AI READY ASEAN Certified Trainer e-certification issued by AI Singapore and ASEAN Foundation.

Post-training:

  • Virtual support for Q&A sessions during your FIRST workshops (*subject to availability)
  • Questions from subsequent workshops can be compiled and addressed via email

Monetary Support:

  • Items such as transportation, token of appreciation are eligible for reimbursement.
  • Submit claims within 10 working days from the last day of the training workshop.
  • The claim process takes 6-8 weeks from the complete claim submission date.
  • Details on the claims items & process will be provided upon program acceptance.

It’s crucial to commit fully to the programme’s requirements to ensure the successful dissemination of AI knowledge in your community. If you are uncertain about committing or have queries, feel free to reach out to us at learn-admin@aisingapore.org to clarify before applying.

Participants are advised to bring their laptops. For note-taking during the training sessions, it is recommended to also bring notebooks, tablets, and any other necessary materials.

Participants are required to provide valid documentation (e.g., medical certificates) to support their reasons for absence. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from participating in future activities organised by AI Singapore.

Currently, there is only one scheduled run of the training. Additional sessions may be organised in the future depending on the number of interested participants, availability, and other factors.
