Don’t Take Our Word for It.

“The curriculum was highly relevant and practical. It provided a clear blueprint of the key topics and areas to take note of when leveraging agentic coding for software development — exactly the kind of grounding needed to apply these concepts in real work.”

Ian Tan
Deputy Director, Digital Transformation Unit, University Campus Infrastructure (UCI), NUS

“Even as someone already working with agentic AI systems, the course gave me a
clearer framework for integrating these workflows into day-to-day development, and is a great starting point for anyone looking to build in the right direction.”

Reyan Thong
Final Year Student in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, NTU

“The session adds some key knowledge spots I did not pay attention to previously. I started vibe coding myself without a proper systematic learning framework. So the session was quite helpful to fill the knowledge gaps of mine, and helped me to better understand vibe coding.”

Liu Xiaodong
Pre-Sales Technical Manager, Patsnap

“It’s a good fundamental and essential learning programme for those preparing to go into the workforce.”

Zhi Li Chua
Final Year Student in Computer Science, NTU

FAQS

AIxTech is a transformative initiative designed to empower the current and next generation of technical professionals by integrating AI coding assistants (ACAs) directly into the development lifecycle. Developed by AI Singapore, AIxTech is part of National AI Impact Programme (NAIIP) supported by IMDA, this programme is structured into two distinct phases:

Power-Up Phase – This is an 18-hour, self-paced course designed to help technical professionals master AI coding assistants for production work — building both tool-specific fluency and the tool-agnostic proficiency to choose, switch, and combine them effectively. The 10-module curriculum progresses from foundational prompt and context engineering to advanced agent development and multi-agent orchestration.

Master Phase – Building on that foundation, the Master Phase is centred on three interlocking pillars—flexible credits, an evolving curriculum, and an expert community—to ensure long-term professional growth. Learners receive S$600 in credits to be used over 12 months to customise their own AI toolkit without vendor lock-in, alongside a year of access to an ever-evolving library of advanced modules. At the heart of this phase is a living curriculum fuelled by the AISG community, where real-world insights from practitioners and engineers are formalised into new content, ensuring your skills remain at the forefront of the industry.

Yes. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who are tech professionals qualify for the funded rate — S$180 (excl. GST) or S$196.20 (incl. GST) — regardless of years of experience.

To progress to the Master Phase, you must complete all core modules. Upon completion, you receive a completion certificate and S$600 in subscription credits valid for 12 months — usable across all participating AI coding assistants.

Our programme curriculum consists of two phases: the Power-Up Phase and the Master Phase. The Power-Up Phase builds the core competencies in AI-assisted engineering — from communicating precisely with AI and building agents responsibly, to shipping with professional rigour and orchestrating multi-agent workflows at scale. The Master Phase is earned by learners who pass all assessments, and comes with a completion certificate, subscription credits, and access to an extended module library for continued development as the field evolves.

Course fees vary by profile. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who are tech professionals pay S$180 (excl. GST) or S$196.20 (incl. GST). All other learners pay S$2,006.36 (excl. GST) or S$2,186.93 (incl. GST). All tiers include access to participating AI Code Assistants throughout the Power-Up Phase. Additional subsidies may be available through SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) and UTAP.

Yes. All modules are asynchronous and self-paced, mounted on Lumino — AISG’s in-house learning management system. You can progress through the 10 modules (18 hours total) at your own pace during the Power-up Phase.

AIxTech will provide training with access to a portfolio of leading AI coding solutions (e.g. Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Kiro, General Language Model, Agnes). The tool roster is reviewed and refreshed regularly to keep pace with the evolving AI coding assistant landscape. You will receive 3-month access to participating tools during the Power-up Phase, and the S$600 credits let you continue with your preferred tools after completion.

After completing the core curriculum, qualified learners gain access to additional advanced modules for the next 12 months — building upon the core curriculum and exploring both new and advanced techniques as the field evolves.
